An Introduction to Caucuses
Welcome Somalis to Caucus Night!
Here are some important dates to mark in your calendar.
Tuesday, February 7th, 7:00 pm - Precinct Caucuses.
Once again, Caucuses will be held in the same locations as 2010.
Hopkins precinct caucuses will be at:
Eisenhower Community Center
1001 Highway 7

Golden Valley precinct caucuses will be at:
Meadowbrook Elementary School
5430 Glenwood Ave

St. Louis Park precinct caucuses will be at:

Saturday, March 17th, 10:00am - Senate District ?? DFL Convention.

Redistricting lines will be finalized on Feb 21st, after the Precinct Caucuses, but before the Senate District Convention. We won't know what the district number is until then. Most of "old" SD44 will be in the new District, but there will be changes. We will post new District lines and numbers when they become available and let elected Delegates know of their new District and Convention details regardless of which District they fall into.
